Game 5 of the playoffs comes with certain expectations. So far, only the Canucks have met those expectations. The Kings are fortunate to find themselves down only 2-1. Kopitar needs to be a lot better. The second line needs to generate some offense. It feels like 5 defensemen out there. Jarrett Stoll is impotent on the 4th line. Randy Jones needs to be taken behind the chemical shed and shot…repeatedly. Look for Murray to mix up the lines between periods.
Look, with the exception of game 4, the Kings have had slow starts so why should this game be any different. I have a lot of faith in our boys. I would expect and hope for a more aggressive offensive attack. Vancouver’s defense is porous and Luongo is as soft as a silicon implant. GO KINGS!
