MARK HARDY RELEASED – TO APPEAR IN COURT JUNE 4, 2010

This should probably round off the updates for today’s awkward story line on Los Angeles Kings Assistant Coach Mark Hardy.

Hardy was released from court, with a hearing scheduled for June 4. The report contains a few more small details about the night in question, claiming Hardy denied anything had happened to the alleged female relative, but then apologized just before she ran to the front desk of the Mayflower Hotel for help. Here is the report from the Washington Post.

  1. I guess the next question is, “Will this affect his job with the kings?”

    • If he is convicted of a felony, yes. I think he will be asked to re-sign. If he is convicted of a misdemeanor, it could go either way. If he is not convicted, then it is at the discretion of AEG which holds itself out as a Christian based / conservative entity.
