Those are very interesting numbers, particularly where they concern players who will be coming up for contract next season, on the cusp of the new CBA. Wayne Simmonds jumps out as vastly underpaid. The more I look at this the more I think having Kovalchuk slip off the hook was a blessing in disguise for us.
Consider also those who will be off the books by then. But, you are certainly correct, Wayne, Drew, and Jack combined will be well over $10 million dollars in raises.
