Here is the bottom line. The youngest team in the NHL looks old and slow. They cannot keep up with the Coyotes’ speed. Phoenix plays a simple game, they penetrate through the blue line and (unlike Carolina) cycle and find shooting lanes. Quick’s inability to control rebounds isn’t doing the Kings any favors as one shot, becomes two which becomes three.
Let’s see if the Kings find their game. Worst lead in hockey – 2 goals.
