Justin Williams is playing with the passion and heart of a player that wants to win every shift, every period and every game. His skating, hustle and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the puck is second to none on this team. This fight against John Michael Liles is an indication of his will to win. He is my man crush so far this season and remember boys, this is a contract year.

  1. Williams was huge against Colorado and Phoenix. His start of season intensity is an example for all Kings players, especially rookies.

Against Colorado he maintained excellent body position when chasing down pucks (something the Kings excelled at last season but forgot through the first four games) and a level of intensity worthy of a play off game. He was a monster along the boards and criss-crossed the high slot repeatably scrambling the D coverage

  2. I’m so glad I backed him during the summer. There was some fair criticism, but I went with the fact that before his injury last season, he was a beast, and that he was going to have plenty of time to get ready for this season. Contract year, something to prove. I expected a big year from him, and so far he’s delivering.

If he gets hurt again, I’m going to hear it from a few fans though. Luckily, if that happens, I don’t think they’ll remember.

  3. Loving Justin this season.. glad he is back to form.. He is a high energy player and
think he is Great form Team spirit and morale!
    GO KINGS GO !!!
