I just read Terry Murray’s quote again regarding Bernier.

“He won. He won. He’s playing. He won. Period.”

He is a genius.

If you take that quote and shuffle each sentence around, you can get:

“He won. He’s playing. He won. Period. He won.”

“He’s playing. He won. He won. Period. He won.”

“He won. Period. He’s playing. He won. He won.”

“He’s playing. Period. He won. He won. He won.”

Just about every line and sentence combination will convey the same message and as unusual as “Period. He’s playing. He won. He won. He won,” may sound, even that gets the point across. So not only is our coach particularly adept at randomly shuffling lines between and during games, he has taken that mastery to the English language.

We’re not worthy.
