NHL referee Eric Furlatt is garnering a lot of attention these days. By attention, I mean concern over his competence as an NHL referee and, in the Boston v. Lightning series, the disproportionate number of calls he has made against the Lightning. Everyone’s favorite NHL coach, Guy Boucher, has also said he is very to the second power aware of this disconcerting fact.
