Here we go!
On November 10, the Kings play the Canucks at Staples Center. Each stat, below, concerns that game only. Submit your guess on the following:
LA Kings goals.
Vancouver Canucks goals.
LA Kings shots on goal.
Vancouver Canucks shots on goal.
LA Kings penalty minutes, combined.
LA Kings blocked shots, combined.
LA Kings goalie’s SV% (for example .912 and make sure you write it with the point preceding the 3 digit number).
Will there be a fight that will result in a 5 minute penalty to either team? If you answer correctly, it is worth +5 points. If you answer incorrectly, you lose 5 points.
How many powerplays will the LA Kings have?
Will the Kings score a powerplay goal? If you answer correctly, it is worth +5 points. If you answer incorrectly, you lose 5 points.
Will the Kings give up a powerplay goal? If you answer correctly, it is worth +5 points. If you answer incorrectly, you lose 5 points.
Will Terry Murray mention the words “shot mentality” in Hammond’s post game interview of him? If you answer correctly, it is worth +10 points. If you answer incorrectly, you lose 10 points.
The number of bullet points Jewels From The Crown will have in its post game.
The number of times Frozen Royalty will use the word “indeed” in its post game.
The number of photos The Royal Half will have in its post game.
THE POINT SYSTEM
You start with 0 points. You lose a point (-1) for every number you are off. For example, if you guess the Kings will score 4 goals and they score 1, you lose 3 points. If you guess the Kings’ goalie will have a .945 SV% and he has a .925 percentage, you lose 2o points. The yes or no questions have their own designated points, as indicated. The highest score wins. If you have to ask whether -3 is higher than -12, then, well, you’re a Ducks fan.
In the unlikely event of a tie, the tie breakers will start from the top stat and work down. For example, if there is a tie and you correctly guessed the Kings would score 3 goals and your opponent missed that, you win. If you tied that, we go to the next one on the list.
The contest ends (and comments will be disabled) immediately preceding the puck drop for the game.
To make it easier, you can copy and paste the following and put your answer next to each in the comment section. It is abbreviated to correspond with each question.

LAK PP Goal For (Y/N)
