I meant to do this last week but it got lost in the shuffle.
It is not too late to make our voices heard.
If you have every heard Davis Gaines sing the National Anthem at Staples Center, then you know, there is no one better that we have at our disposal. Lorelei Cinco comes in a close second. The singing of the anthem, though an antiquated ritual, is important. It sets the tone. It inspires more passion when done properly than any cool Kings Vision montage ever has, though I am excited to see what he has to offer tomorrow.
I have created a petition targeted at the Los Angeles Kings. The goal: Davis Gaines must sing the anthem before all playoff games at Staples Center. Sign it. Do it now. Share it. Tweet it. Facebook it. Reddit, google+, tumbler, whatever the hell else you have at your disposal, use it.

I really like Lorelei Cinko but Davis is the best, I totally agree. Knowing the Kids they’ll have that awful Slash with his guitar solo

First of all, goddamnit, it’s JIMI. Not Jimmy, Jimi. And they are not on the musical Stratocaster, either. Slash can play and he has a nice hat. Hendrix, Jimi, was ahead of his time, and is still ahead of even the current time.

No thank you. Check the record of our last 2 years of Playoff Games at home when Davis sang. Didn’t we lose almost all of them? I say bring in a ripping guitarist and play it like Hendrix. And don’t forget the Canadian Anthem needs to be sung. Get some American Idol Dropout for that.
Not only is he a good singer. He doesnt mess with the song, he sings it the way its supposed to, doesn’t add extra sylables to words and make it sound awful….and he sings at a decent pace, no 4 minute slow version
